Audentia Research was engaged by an international management consulting firm, operating in 24 countries, to conduct a targeted mapping exercise of one of their main competitors in the oil & gas sector. The objective was to identify potential candidates from partner level down to associate level within their competitor's oil & gas practice. This initiative was commissioned by the Head of US Talent Acquisition and the Global Managing Partner of the Energy practice.
To accomplish this, we utilized a combination of desk research and direct conversations with industry professionals to map out the organizational structure of the competitor's energy practice. By developing a comprehensive Organogram, we provided our client with valuable insights, enabling them to identify high-potential candidates within the target firm. As a next step, our client requested our assistance in approaching and assessing the suitability and interest of these key individuals. We thoroughly evaluated the candidates and presented a shortlist of 3 highly qualified individuals, ultimately resulting in the successful hire of one director-level candidate.
